After getting a degree in aerospace engineering and successfully growing a career at a major company, I realized my passion for real estate through my personal home ownership experience. While it’s not "rocket science", buying and selling property is an important decision. It helps to have someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, professional and dedicated working for you.
Through honesty, transparency, excellent communication, and hard work, I am committed to serving my clients beyond their highest expectations.

Personal Real Estate Experiences
Los Angeles My husband, Mike, and I started exploring the world of real estate in 2009 and bought our first home in 2010. We studied the local real estate market to determine the appropriate renovations and updates to perform on our out-dated home in order to achieve the maximum increase in property value. After completing our renovations, we staged our home and listed it in 2013. After being on the market for only a week, we received 22 offers. Our final sale price was 10% over the list price. During this experience I learned many valuable skills related to both buying and selling real estate, and discovered that I had a undeniable interest in the industry.
Folsom Acting as our buyer's agent, I led Mike through a thorough tour of the Orangevale and Folsom real estate markets to find the right starter home for our family. When we found our house, the list price was above the assessed market value. Through seller education, I negotiated the sale price down almost 10% from the list price and navigated an aggressively short escrow process to close ahead of schedule. After an extensive renovation, Mike and I are thrilled with our new home!
My Career Prior to Real Estate
I joined Lyon Real Estate after working as an aerospace engineer at Boeing for 8 years. I started my career performing thermal analysis on the Space Shuttle program, supporting the STS-121 mission at Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. After relocating to Los Angeles, I became a satellite flight software test engineer for the attitude control subsystem group. This opened the door to positions on mission operations teams, customer support roles, and new product design and development teams. As a result of my management skills on a multi-million dollar project, I received a World Class Engineering Award for Leadership.
In My Free Time
I enjoy outdoor activities, nature, travel, and adventure. I also enjoy cooking, especially experimenting with new ingredients and flavors. My husband and I are animal lovers- he's a cat person, but I'm a dog person- so we have both!
